Not all of them, but some.
This week the topic of "Grit" in relation to success was reintroduced to me through a podcast by TED radio hour.
I wholeheartedly agree with the points brought up, as well as the "adaptation compensation" that people who feel the need to compensate for a lack of ability in a certain area in a certain thing.
Then, I also gave some thought to weaknesses and how it's not the content/knowledge that we have memorized in our heads that make us excellent, but how we apply this knowledge. To elaborate, this how in this case would be to identify weak spots and to fortify them. Remember the weak spots & make 'em strong.
So what I resolve to do from now onwards, is to work on this fortifying act and -on a regular basis- evaluate myself. And so, another purpose of this blog is added: to record my progress.
Moving along, I also have some thoughts on self-improvement, mainly in terms of neatness and outward appearance. I think I will make it so that I can incorporate these small steps into my routine.
